Many small business owners frequently find themselves getting caught in one or more of the following traps:

It reminded me of when I started my business:

• I had no idea what an information product was, let alone how to create one and make it an automatic process so someone could buy it at 3am AND actually receive it.

• I had no idea how to set up a system to automatically follow-up with my clients and prospects.

• I didn’t know what an affiliate program was, let alone how to set one up which consistently generates sales for me.

• I had never used an autoresponder system and didn't know I had seen any.

• I didn’t know how to set up a website which would be client attractive.

• Heck, I didn’t know what “client attractive” meant.

• I had no idea how to create marketing materials which engage my prospects rather than “sell” them.

• I knew I hated the thought of cold calling, but didn't know there were other options.

• I had heard of an “email newsletter”, but had no idea how or why I should do one, let alone who I would send it to.

I did have something on my side:

• A natural-born talent for taking complex and difficult subjects and making them simple combined with a burning desire to help people.

• Years of experience in the Federal Government and Corporate where the projects no one wanted always found their way to me and I got them done -- on time and within budget.

After too many years of daily 100+ mile commutes and 12-hour work days, I decided to go out on my own and become a virtual assistant.  The business was rocky at first with one small client who had trouble paying me.
